Cloud Computing – Dilbert Spoof

In many management and technical presentations, we see Dilbert cartoons. Some of them may be thought provoking. Some could be simply misleading. If any message is over simplified, one needs to be careful – whether it is coming from a Dilbert cartoon or a marketing person. Here is my spoof on Dilbert. Let me know what you think!

  1. Yeah is quite confusing as the Dilbert strip implies that if a “cloud” stops all the data is lost or maybe the cartoonist used the word ‘lost’ in the sense that the squared glasses man just ‘lost contact” or ‘lost connection’ with the business’s applications.
Even the term cloud is confusing, some use it to refer to remote backup only, other to refer to VPNs, others to refer to virtual dedicated hosting.
